For as long as I can recall, the term You Create Your Own Reality has been flung about hither and yon in the circles I grew up, and later went on to travel in.
The idea never didn’t make sense, but I never really knew how I created my own reality, beside the usual scapegoats––thoughts and actions.

I stumbled upon an article about a little girl, homeless in Brooklyn. The writer eloquently engages the reader immediately on a journey, through a year of Dasani’s life. We went with her to school, we got into fights on the block, we listen as rats scurried around the baseboard of the room that she and eight other people lived in, in one of the darkest and forgotten homeless shelters in New York.
The sun comes up every morning, and no one has to ask it to shine. No one commands the moon to rise. They just do. Because they do. It is just Nature. There is no choice involved. How I spend the day… Or the night for that matter… Whether I enjoy them or not. That’s…
